Zargari (or Romāno) is a dialect of Balkan Romani, spoken in Zargar region (Abyek district) of the Qazvin Province of in Iran by the ethnic Zargari people. The language can be found in surrounding regions as well. It is one of the only Indo-Aryan languages still spoken in Iran, and is considered endangered.[1] Zargari takes its name from the Persian word for "goldsmith" (زرگر zargar).

Lo zargari (o romāno) è un dialetto[1] del romanì dei Balcani, parlato nella regione di Zargar (distretto di Abyek) nella provincia di Qazvin in Iran dall'etnia Zargari. La lingua può essere trovata anche nelle regioni circostanti. È una delle uniche lingue indo-arie ancora parlate in Iran ed è considerata in pericolo.[2] Zargari prende il nome dalla parola persiana per "orafo" (زرگر zargar).
