Джон Гри́ндер, Ph.D. (John Grinder; 10 января 1940 года; Детройт, США) — американский лингвист и писатель. Совместно с Ричардом Бэндлером создал нейролингвистическое программирование (НЛП), системный и комплексный подход к межличностному общению.

Биография

Будучи на десять лет старше Бэндлера, стал супервизором в его группе семинаров гештальт-терапии. В молодости работал (по его словам) тайным агентом ЦРУ в Германии, Италии и Югославии. В начале семидесятых его имя стало известным среди любителей генеративно-трансформационной грамматики, восходящей к Ноаму Хомскому — опубликовал в соавторстве с Ричардом Бэндлером книгу «Структура магии. Части 1 и 2». (Переработана в 1983). Работал младшим ассистентом профессора лингвистики под руководством Грегори Бейтсона в Кресж Колледж.
